Eva Sajanová (*2002) is a film director and composer from Slovakia. Before finishing her Master’s in Documentary Film Directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, Eva studied Composition at the Bratislava Conservatory. That background continues to shape her practice, where she explores listening as a documentary practice and sound as a way of understanding, rather than simply representing, the world.

Her short film How to Listen to Fountains premiered at the San Sebastián International Film Festival, where it received the Premio Nest, and later won Best Short Film at the Slovak National Film Awards (Sun in a Net). It has since screened internationally at festivals including Edinburgh, Melbourne, BAFICI, Beldocs, Vienna Shorts, and É Tudo Verdade and received multiple awards.
She later expanded the project into POFO.sk, an online sound map of Bratislava's fountains.

Alongside filmmaking, Eva creates short radio pieces for Radio and Television of Slovakia, she writes music for films and performances and plays live with her solo music project holé baby. 

She wrote music for YOLT, a dance performance by Italian choreographer Manuel Ronda, which premiered at the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava and later won the Dosky 2023 award for an extraordinary act in the dance theater. She wrote music for the feature-length documentary film Ms. President (dir. Marek Šulík, 2024) and several short films.
